3rd year student at Staffordshire University, studying Ba (Hons) Illustration
I have good knowledge in Photoshop, and I am particularly passionate about Lino-Printing, with experience in Dry-Point and Mono Printing, as well as knowledge of stop-motion animation and selling my print work at art fairs.
Have produced project work in University focusing on briefs for Penguin Books and Popshot Magazine, this involves creating a full book cover spread and double page magazine spread, including mixed media such as pencil, watercolour, lino printing, digital line work and editing in Photoshop.
I hope to inspire and generate interest with my current ongoing projects: ‘Beyond Movember’, ‘Social Media Depression’ and advertising work for Januhairy, bringing awareness to physical and mental health for men and women. Will be entering the Creative Conscience competition.
I adore the lino printing process, integrating repeat pattern into my work, and I am highly influenced by the beauty and simplicity of natural forms. Cats are a huge inspiration for some of my lino prints and I will continue to produce print work - as a basis for selling work on my online shop very soon.
Keen to learn new skills in packaging design, applying my printmaking and illustration techniques to potential products is an exciting prospect.
